Welcome to the official website of the Kiwanis Club of Newark!  The Newark
Club is a very active organization, dedicated to helping children throughout
Newark, Licking County, and the world.  Our club focuses much of its energy
on Camp O'Bannon and the Licking County Sports Association.  We host a
number of fundraisers to help raise money for these important entities: The
Pancake Breakfast (in January), Newark's Strawberries on the Square Festival
(in June), and the Camp O'Bannon Fish Fry (in September).  The Kiwanis Club
of Newark also distributes the Charity News in the fall to help inform the
community of our activities.

If you are a member of The Kiwanis Club of Newark THANK YOU for your
commitment and time to this dynamic group of volunteers who strive to make
their community and the world a better place for a child to grow and thrive.

If you are not a member and are considering membership in our organization
please know that by doing so you will make a significant change in a child's
life by a commitment of a few hours of your time. 
 
The icing on the cake as a member of this group, you get to be part of a
group of people who meet every Monday for lunch and a presentation by
butchers, bakers, candlestick makers and a multitude of others too numerous
to mention who will amuse, delight, and inform.  We meet on Mondays at 11:45
at the Buckingham House (6 N. Sixth Street) in Newark, OH.  
 
We are your friends, neighbors and business acquaintances who are members
for two reasons, we want to make a difference in a child's life and we like
to have fun doing it.
